Our wholly owned subsidiary company ‘The Wilderness Tonic Company Limited’ operates all of our adventures. It has achieved an independent Safety Audit Certification AA0 4424. Your safety is our priority.

We operate in National Parks, alpine environments and other outdoor wilderness areas that can be subject to weather events, landslides, avalanches, treefall and rockfalls. It’s important that you’re aware of these risks. To find out more, we recommend checking out New Zealand’s Mountain Safety Council resources.

Our private, small group adventures can be tailored to the objectives and abilities of each individual client group. This contributes to risk mitigation. You will often be moving over uneven ground which may increase the likelihood of slips, trips, and falls. The correct footwear and gear is also important.
