Heli to a wild and remote rocky outcrop, just off the west coast of the UNESCO World Heritage Area for an unforgettable, bucket list freediving adventure. Experienced freedivers only.
ITINERARY
Day One
Arrive at The Great Glenorchy Alpine Base Camp and get settled in. You will meet your guide and you will be briefed. Your gear will be checked. Drinks and dinner at our restaurant ‘Base Camp Food Over Fire’ before you retire to your cosy adventurer’s hut.
Day Two
Early start for breakfast and packing, then off to the nearby heli pad to meet your helicopter. The flight through The UNESCO South West New Zealand World Heritage Area on this particular flight is a beauty — fantastic scenery, craggy peaks, glaciers, snow, rivers, valley systems, forests, tarns to a truly amazing wilderness coastline.
A good spot will be scouted, land, alight, dive and dive and dive again. When you’ve had enough, the heli will fly you back to Base Camp. Showers, sauna, fires burning, bar, and then dinner with us in our restaurant, ‘Base Camp Food Over Fire’ ahead of your last night.
Day Three
Enjoy breakfast and take your time checking out, transfers to Queenstown airport are available if required.
